The mount's design allows for three positional adjustments, enabling users to position their lights either closer to or farther from the top rail, providing clearance for front sights or other accessories. The base height of the mount keeps the Surefire Scout Light sitting just 0.2 inches above the mounting surface, reducing profile while maintaining stability. Note that the mount is not intended for cantilever use, where it hangs off the end of the handguard.
